Consent to the Processing of Personal Data and to the Sending of Commercial Communications

The protection of personal data is very important to us. In the following document, we inform you about which personal data we process, why we process them, for how long, and what your rights are in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of personal data (GDPR).

Who is the controller?

The controller of personal data on the website https://www.ergosens.eu/ is Icontio Ltd., branch office, registered at Holandská 854/1, Štýřice, 639 00 Brno, Company ID No. 277 29 958, registered in the Commercial Register at the Regional Court in Brno, File No. A 19701 (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).

When do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data when you send a contact form, subscribe to our newsletter, or submit a comment, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”).

When you send a contact form, we process the following personal data:

  • First and last name

  • E-mail address

  • Phone number

  • Message text

These personal data must be processed in order to prepare a service offer, negotiate the offer, or respond to your inquiry. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation. These personal data will be processed by the Controller for the duration of negotiations regarding the conclusion of a contract, but no longer than 1 year from your inquiry, unless you grant consent for further processing.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process the following personal data:

  • First and last name

  • E-mail address

  • Phone number

These personal data are processed for the purpose of sending commercial communications containing new articles on our blog. The e-mail address is processed for a period of 5 years. Commercial communications are sent to you based on your given consent. You may unsubscribe from such communications at any time. Such processing is permitted under Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.

Who else may have access to your personal data?

The Controller cooperates with other entities (processors) who may have access to your personal data. The following processors may have access to your data:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – A service that collects and analyzes data on website visitor behavior. Google may have access to such data in accordance with its privacy policy. If we use Google Analytics, data may be transferred to Google’s servers, including those located outside the European Union, with data protection ensured in accordance with the GDPR through standard contractual clauses or other safeguards.

These entities are required to comply with the personal data protection rules established by the GDPR.

What are your rights?

Please note that under the personal data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Request information about which of your personal data we process and obtain a copy of such data,

  • Request an explanation regarding the processing of personal data,

  • Request access to, and correction or updating of, such data,

  • Request the deletion of such personal data – however, this deletion will result in the termination of contract negotiations and will only be carried out if the interests of the joint controllers do not outweigh your right to privacy,

  • In case of any doubts regarding compliance with obligations related to the processing of personal data, contact us or the Office for Personal Data Protection, or take the matter to court.
